I teachpeopleand machines.

A computer network teacher since 2014. Today I train people to use AI, build automations in n8n, and grade language-model answers with rubrics as strict as an exam sheet.

Sample grading

Prompt

Explain subnetting to a 10th grader.

AI answer

Subnetting is the process of dividing an IP network into several smaller networks. It works by borrowing bits from the host portion (underlined, 1) of the subnet mask. For example, a /24 network can be split into several (circled, 2) /26 networks. This is very important in the world of modern networking. (struck out, 3)

Teacher notes

  1. A 10th grader doesn't know this term yet. Explain it first.
  2. How many? 4 subnets, 62 hosts each.
  3. Filler. Cut it.
